Li Dong, female, a member of the Communist Party of China, was born in Shangrao, Jiangxi Province. She holds a PhD in Communication from Wuhan University. Currently, she serves as the Deputy Director of the Convergence Media Center, an Associate Professor, and a Master’s Supervisor at Nanchang University. She has obtained the Level 1-A in PSC test (Putonghua proficiency certificate), and is a National Putonghua Proficiency Tester, an expert of the National Language and Character Work Expert Database, an expert of the Jiangxi Provincial Teaching Steering Committee for Theater, Film and Television, a director of the Jiangxi Provincial Radio, Film and Television Artists Association, and has been selected as a provincial and ministerial level talent.

She has presided over and completed three provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects, participated in multiple National Social Science Fund projects, published more than ten papers in CSSCI source journals and Chinese core journals, and authored three monographs titled Research on the Innovative Development of Radio and Television in the Convergence Media Era, Contemporary Radio and Television and Broadcasting Hosting Art, New Media Culture and Broadcasting Hosting Art. She also acts as the associate editor of two textbooks. Her main research interests include new media culture, radio and television, and broadcasting hosting art.
