In order to keep abreast of media development trends in the all-media era, effectively address the career development concerns of broadcasting majors, and enhance students' new media creation and personal IP operation capabilities, the School of Journalism and Communication at Nanchang University held an online lecture for its summer semester, also the 133rd session of the Excellence Forum, on the evening of September 8. The lecture was delivered online by Wan Xinqi, a veteran media professional and the manager of a new media IP with a million followers. All students majoring in Broadcasting and Hosting Art participated in the online learning session.

Ms. Wan Xinqi has dual practical experience in traditional large-screen hosting and new media account operation. The lecture focused on hosts' all-media transformation and IP building, analyzed the practical difficulties in the transition from large screens to small screens, and shared hands-on methods for account operation, persona building, and content monetization. During the lecture, Ms. Wan actively interacted with students through bullet-screen questions and live audio connections, creating a lively atmosphere in the livestream room.

Taking into account the current shift in audience communication habits, Ms. Wan Xinqi affirmed the solid language skills of broadcasting majors while encouraging students to break out of rigid broadcasting expression patterns and present a genuine and natural personal state in new media creation. Drawing on a large number of high-quality industry cases, she explained the logic of short video operation, the reasonable use of AI tools, and key pitfalls to avoid in personal IP building, helping students map out diversified career development paths.

It is reported that this online special lecture is an important part of the School's summer semester series of practical courses. Based on the industry frontier, the lecture helped students update their professional understanding, dispel career confusion, and provided useful inspiration for broadcasting students to respond to media transformation and enhance their core competitiveness.
