School of Journalism and Communication Holds 2026 Graduates Employment "Hundred-Day Sprint" Action Promotion Meeting

On June 23, the School of Journalism and Communication held a promotion meeting for the 2026 graduates employment "Hundred-Day Sprint" action, further consolidating responsibilities, refining measures, and making every effort to facilitate high-quality and full employment for graduates. The meeting was presided over by Ouyang Run, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, with all faculty and staff in attendance.

The meeting thoroughly studied and conveyed the Nanchang University 2026 Graduates Employment "Hundred-Day Sprint" Action Plan. Based on the School's actual circumstances, Ouyang Run made special arrangements for the School's employment work during the sprint phase. The School will align with the University's requirements, refine task procedures, strengthen accountability implementation, and coordinate efforts to advance various employment breakthrough tasks. It will fully leverage the collective educational power of all faculty, continue to expand job opportunities and provide targeted assistance, and effectively enhance the quality of employment services.

During the meeting, Fan Ruoyun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, and Gan Yu, Associate Dean, respectively reported the current employment rates for undergraduate and graduate programs across various majors. Faculty member Xi Zhiwu shared his experience in graduate employment guidance, stating that it is essential to uphold the principle of whole-process education. Career planning education should be systematically carried out from the enrollment stage to guide students in establishing scientific and rational employment concepts. Employment capability training should be organically integrated into daily academic training, and precise guidance, resource support, and psychological counseling should be provided to students during critical job-seeking periods, so as to comprehensively enhance students' employment competitiveness.

Going forward, the School of Journalism and Communication will continue to closely monitor employment goals, refine breakthrough measures, strengthen coordination and collaboration, and solidly advance the implementation of all tasks under the employment "Hundred-Day Sprint," providing a solid guarantee for more sufficient and higher-quality employment for the Class of 2026 graduates.
