To further deepen university-enterprise collaboration, promote high-quality and full employment for graduates, and broaden internship and practical training opportunities for current students, from December 5 to 6, Xu Liang, Member of the Standing Committee of the University Party Committee and Head of the Publicity Department, accompanied by Ouyang Run (Party Secretary of the School of Journalism and Communication), Gan Yu (Vice Dean), Wang Yiben (Vice Dean), Hu Dan (Director of the Journalism Department), and Bao Xinbin (Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office), visited enterprises in Hangzhou and Shanghai as part of a targeted “Enterprise Visiting and Position Expansion” initiative.

On the morning of December 5, the delegation visited Alibaba Group for an exchange visit. Accompanied by relevant executives from the company, the team toured the campus exhibition hall and several business units, gaining in-depth insights into Alibaba’s practices and achievements in digital economic development, technological innovation, and corporate culture building. During the visit, both sides engaged in on-site discussions on topics such as talent demands in the digital economy era, university-enterprise collaborative education, and mechanisms for internships and practical training.

That afternoon, Xu Liang and his delegation visited Wuyou Media and held a symposium on topics including new media content production, online communication trends, and talent development alignment. Both sides actively discussed internship and employment opportunities for university students and reached a preliminary consensus on cooperation.

On December 6, after arriving in Shanghai, Xu Liang and his team visited Guinong Group and several alumni-founded enterprises. Xu highly commended the social contributions and vibrant growth of these alumni enterprises, stating that the university will continue to serve as a bridge to facilitate more university-enterprise collaboration projects and support mutual growth between alumni and their alma mater. The two parties reached preliminary agreements on jointly establishing internship and practical training bases, launching industry-academia-research collaborations, and implementing targeted graduate placement programs.
